Ghana Provisional Squad
Some big names were dropped when Ghanaian coach Kwesi Appiah has selected a 26-man provisional squad for the Brazil World Cup. Ex-captain John Mensah and Isaac Virsah were among those left out. Defender Jeffery Shlupp, who has just one cap has been a surprise inclusion, along with striker David Accam
Regular veterans Michael Essien, Asamoah Gyan, Sully Muntari have all been included. Stephen Adams is the only domestic player in the squad
