Japan World Cup Squad Announced
Veteran Striker Yoshito Okubo is a surprise selection in the 23-man Japan World Cup Squad announced by coach Alberto Zaccheroni. Despite having played for the national team only once since "Zac" took over in 2010, Okubo's domestic form helped him make a comeback
Key players Honda, Kagawa, Okazaki, among others are all in the team, with a total of twelve players based in Europe. Struggling J-League forward Kakitani made the cut as well
