Franck Ribery's Last World Cup

France winger Ribery might play at home in Euro 2016, if all goes well, but he definitely is not going to Russia to play in 2018 World Cup. He spoke to a radio station tonight and announced that he and his team will have to give their best to win the Cup that eluded him when they lost to Italy on penalties in 2006, his first World Cup

Franck Ribery is considered to be one of the best wingers around and is one of the three finalists in this year's Ballon d'Or, along with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, losing to the former in a tight contest. He was not in a mood to announce his retirement plans though, he's in top shape in the last couple of years and would be instrumental in France's campaign in Brazil
