Bosnia Provisional Squad

Bosnia coach Safet Susic named his provisional 24-man team for the World Cup. The list includes all the usual suspects who helped the nation impressively qualify for its first outing at the World Event

Susic named one extra entry to cover in case right-back Mensur Mujdza fails to recover in time from his foot injury. A few notable exclusions include defender Boris Pandza and midfielder Adnan Zahirovic. To everyone's surprise, Zahirovic lost his place to the coach's nephew Tino Susic. Another surprise in the team selection is that it has only two strikers of which only one of them would be used per match, the coach claims

FIFA has a deadline until June 2 by which all teams need to lodge their 23-member World Cup squads, which means Susic needs to drop just a name out of his provisional list. In case Mujdza proves his fitness before final selection, either Susic or Hadzic are expected to miss out
