Alongside the injured midfielder Van der Vaart, Tonny Vilhena, Jean-Paul Boetius, Patrick van Aanholt, goalkeeper backup Jeroen Zoet, Quincy Promes and Karim Rekik missed the Netherlands final roster selection ahead of the World Cup.
