Ghana - Group G (Germany, Portugal, USA)
Ghana is the oldest football association in Africa founded in 1920. They are one of the recent entrants at the World Cup stage making their debut in 2006. Their major achievement in international football is staying unbeaten in 2005
Profile
During their most dominant phase in the 60s, Ghana once famously held spanish giants Real Madrid 3-3 which is followed by consecutive African Cup of Nations wins. They enjoy fierce rivalry against their continental neighbors Nigeria
Ghanaian attack is well accomplished with their ability to score from closer and long ranges, free kicks and headers. However their defense lags behind on many counts especially vulnerable from flanks
