The opening game is to be played when the hosts take on Croatia at Arena de Sao Paulo on the 12th of June. The event spans just over a month culminating with the final at Estadio do Maracana (Rio De Janeiro) on the 13th of July

The hosts Brazil, Argentina, Spain and Germany are tipped to be hot favorites to win the cup whereas tourney regulars France, Italy, Uruguay, Netherlands, England and Portugal are in the running for the top spot. Backed by strong teams, substantial performances and good rankings, Belgium and Colombia are this edition's underdogs...
