Brasilia's Estadio Nacional has been rebuilt in 2013 to host seven World Cup games including a Round of 16 game, a quarter-final and the play-off for the third place. Estadio Nacional Mane Garrincha
This federal owned stadium was built in 2012 on the remains of the older demolished stadium and is named after the legendary Brazilian footballer Garrincha. The stadium currently holds more than 70,000 spectators and will also hold some games in 2016 Rio Olympics.
