Literally The Riverside Stadium, owing to its location, the stadium hosts the local club Internacional and legend says Inter fans donated the construction material and their support during the decade long construction phase. The stadium, with capacity of 51,300, is also known as The Giant of Beira-Rio (Gigante do Beira-Rio) and Estadio Jose Pinheiro Borda after the construction supervising engineer.
