Algeria World Cup Squad
Vahid Halilhodzic sprung a couple of minor surprises when he left out midfielders Foued Kadir, Adlene Guedioura and striker Rafik Djebbour out of his final World Cup squad for Algeria. While Djebbour struggled for game time after he was loaned to Nottingham Forest, Kadir fared well for Rennes
Goalkeeper Izzedine Doukha, defender Nacereddine Khoualed and midfielders Ryad Boudebouz and Amir Karaoui also missed the cut while 19 year old Nabil Bentalab was included. Regulars Islam Slimani, Madjid Bougherra, Abdelmoumene Bjabou were all part of the final roster
